Antidote for Anxiety

By Gary Craig— Founder of Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)

EFT is an anxiety antidote that has provided thousands with relief from anxiety, stress, pain, diseases and emotional issues.

Simply stated, it is a unique version of acupuncture except you don't use needles.

Instead, you stimulate well established energy meridian points on your body by tapping them with your fingertips.

The process is easy to memorize and is portable so you can do it anywhere. It launches from the EFT Discovery Statement

which says...

"The cause of all negative emotions is a disruption in the body's energy system."

And because our physical pains and diseases are so obviously connected with our emotions the following statement has

also proven to be true...

"Our unresolved negative emotions are major contributors to most physical pains and diseases."

This common sense approach draws its power from (1) time-honored Eastern discoveries that have been around for over

5,000 years and (2) Albert Einstein, who told us back in the 1920's that everything (including our bodies) is composed of

energy.

These ideas have been largely ignored by Western Healing Practices and that is why EFT often works where nothing else will. It's not that EFT is so stunning (although it may certainly appear that way to you). Rather, it is because conventional healing methods have simply overlooked the obvious.

You will see that clearly as you allow EFT to bring freedom into your life where you thought none was possible.

The freely downloadable EFT Manual gives you all the basics so you can experience it for yourself. It is one of the most popular downloads on the internet as over 10,000 people download it per month.

Here are a few benefits that have impressed us about EFT and its use as a stress relief technique:

  • This anxiety antidote can be used immediately.

  • It is a do-it-yourself procedure that you or anyone else can use to reduce and relieve anxiety!

  • All the basics are free on the very generous Stress Relief EFT website. (www.emofree.com)

  • It is anxiety reduction at its best -- no medications whatsoever.

  • Often works to reduce anxiety where everything else fails.

  • You can sign up for EFT’s free twice-weekly newsletter which provides ongoing education on stress and anxiety

(and many other issues, including weight issues, stress, anxiety, pain, phobias, sports performance, relationship

                                issues, & more).

  • It is a Universal Healing Aid that is useful for stress reduction and almost every other emotional or physical issue

                               you can name.

With some frequency, we see clients with a blend of anxiety, trauma, physical pain and other issues. These problems are

often so intertwined and "inter-causal" (new word?) that it’s hard to know which causes what. However, there are usually

some common core issues underlying them.

Stress is a well known factor in a wide variety of human ailments. Because EFT is so highly effective, many physical symptoms simultaneously subside with its proper application. This impressive and valuable information is made

readily available through the information rich website, downloadable manuals, easily affordable instructional DVDs, and interactive forums.

While the use of EFT is usually quite gentle and people often achieve substantial stress relief with little or no pain, there

is no guarantee that it will achieve every person’s goals or be as painless as it is for others. For some people and issues

it is best used along side of personal psychotherapy. Some people's issues are so intense that the mere mention of them causes emotional or physical pain. Although truly serious instances of this (sometimes called abreactions) are most likely

to occur in seriously emotionally challenged people (best estimate is less than 3% of the population), newcomers to EFT

are advised to exercise common sense in this regard. Please consult your physician and/or therapist regarding your use

of these procedures.
